Our First Swim

I was really nervous taking Justin into the pool because i knew he would be slippery. So I took his diaper off and left his clothes on so I wouldn't be so nervous. I don't think he really knew what was going on since the pool is about 90 degrees so there wasn't much difference in the temperature outside versus the water... but it was still fun!

We found some lightweight sleepers that we can use since it's so warm down here. So Cute!!!!!

It has been really hard to share my new little friend. Let alone set him down. We tried his new swing and although he doesn't look happy, he was perfectly content in his new swing and so cute in it too!!!!

Grandpa Reuland Time!

I couldn't wait for my dad to get here to meet the new addition. I had to wait a whole week for him to get here and everything felt complete when my dad was able to meet his grandson yesterday for the first time. I was looking though my baby book at the pictures of my dad holding me and couldn't wait to see my dad holding our son - it was amazing to see!

We will miss you Grammy!

Grammy left today and we were sad to see her go. She was able to spend a week of quality time with Justin and fell madly in love with him. She was not ready to leave this morning and took one of his blankets home with her so she could remember his smell - as she said - he smells like roses! I had no idea how to burp a baby so Sandie was hired as my professional burper as you can see by some of the pictures. You will be missed but we will see you sooner than later!

This was my first day home from the hospital. We have Ryan and Sundi and the Grandma's over for dinner. These pictures are of our little family before everyone came over. We had a great dinner and it was great to see everyone!

I find that I watch him all of the time and am discovering all of his different sleeping poses.... the next pose is cuter than the last! As you can see from all of the pictures, he sleeps a lot! Lucky me!!
