Seattle trip

As most of you know, Justin and I just went to Seattle for a week. I was really homesick and wanted to spend time with friends and family. We had so much fun, although Justin was tired of getting in and out of his car seat a million times by the time we were going to leave. These pictures aren't going to be in any order - but hopefully you will enjoy.

These ones are great, we were just hanging out in Sandie's back yard. So much fun just running around, throwing the ball for his new best friend Tucker.

FOR ALL OF YOU BLOG READERS, POST COMMENTS, IT MAKES THE BLOGGING WORTH DOING. I FOUND OUT THAT MANY PEOPLE LOOK AT IT AND I HAD NO IDEA, SO PLEASE COMMENT OR I WILL HOLD THE PICTURES HOSTAGE!!!

Some cute sleepy ones

Justin has been going through a little bit of rough patch where he likes to sleep with us. He will go to sleep for about an hour, then wake up. We let him cry it out - but after about 15 minutes of crying I go and get him - he will fall asleep with us right away - stinker!! We try really hard not to create any bad habits but it's been hard (I love it when he sleeps with us) but he sleeps sideways in bed so we are falling off the edges. Well the one where is a sleep on the couch was one of those nights, he woke up after an hour or so, so I brought him downstairs with me, he fell asleep on me immediately so I put him down and had a photo session...

The other picture speaks for itself. Justin will every once in while, sometimes more than others, just lay on the ground - even when he's not tired. We can't figure it out - he's just goofy!

More Yogurt and just a cute one... he looks like Doug on the left!

Eating Yogurt on my own!

I went to pick Justin up at daycare one day and they were eating yogurt. They each had their own little cup of it with a spoon. Of course more was on the table and in their hair, but it was adorable. I figured I should do some of the things that the daycare does with him, to have some consistency. I decided yogurt with a spoon was one of them! So funny! I have a video too but it won't work for some reason.

of course when I sit down to add pictures, the site is down. Well they are all ready to go so I will try to post them today.

Okay here is a better one... won't hurt the neck!

My first Video - yes it is sideways

Okay, I did my first video, and yes it is sideways! I cannot figure out how to rotate it, that is what i get for turning the camera sideways to tape him! Sorry you have to break your necks to look at it. This one isn't very exciting but it's cute. Justin doesn't really watch very much TV but every once in a while I will put on a Baby Einstein tape and he loves them. He dances to the music and talks to the TV, it's so sweet. So again, this one isn't that excited but it gives you a sneak peak of his funny little personality and dancing moves...

Our First time "out" at the Park

Colin and I took Justin to the park to get some fresh air this morning. It was beautiful weather and I have been wanting to take him to the park ever since our Gymboree event because I thought he would enjoy it. It was so funny. We walked him through the "course" and down the slide, he could have cared less. So he started to push the stroller because he likes to bang on and push things a lot lately. He pushed the stroller all the way down the (small) hill into the grass. I brought bubbles because he seems to love bubbles and we had fun with that as well for a few minutes.

Of course when we got back he got a bath, and no Sandie, I didn't bring disinfectant wipes to the park (some of you may not know, but in the beginning I was a bit of a germ freak!) =). The pictures can do much better than my words.

Gymboree

Unfortunately I cannot find the camera charger so I haven't been able to take pix for a while. Justin and I went to Gymboree for the first time on Monday. I wasn't sure how he was going to react. As soon as we walked in there was another group finishing up so he was watching the group and pointing and "talking". As soon as we got in there he was off! He is too young to do tumbling so for the most part we walked around and picked up toys but the best part was when he was playing with the soft slide. There was this squishy step thing that brought you to a wedge/slide. The first time Justin went down I had to give him a little push and off he went. He screamed laughing, it was so funny. Mind you, this wedge was about three feet long so it wasn't a big slide. He loved it. He would play with other toys and then kept coming back to this one. He wanted to climb up the wrong way. It was adorable, he kept trying and trying and so I had to help him up. By the time we were ready to leave he had it all figured out and climbed up the wrong way - all the way to the top! His other favorite part was the bubbles. They had this cool little machine/bubble blower thing and it would shoot out about 30 little bubbles at a time. Justin just stood there with his hands open above his head looking up and giggling at the bubbles. It was adorable. Then he would reach down and pop them on the ground. He was trying to grab them but couldn't figure out where they went. Again, so cute. And I am the sucker who bought the bubble kit on our way out! We are going to go back again when Sandie and Joc come down at the end of October. I know they will enjoy it so much!! So here's to a long entry, trying to make up for not having pictures. I hope you enjoyed my "I think my kid is the coolest, cutest, smartest, most amuzing and amazing kid in the whole world" story!

Cousin on the way!!!!

I just want to say congratulations to Ryan and Sundi! They are pregnant and it is the most exciting news! We can't wait to have a nephew and a cousin for Justin. We are all so excited, words can't express. Ryan and Sundi are going to be such sweet, loving parents I can't wait to see them in action. I bet $1000 Ryan will change a diaper with in the first week! He is going to be a great father, very hands on and loving. I know that Justin loves his Uncle Ryan and loves playing with him so I can't wait to see Ryan with his own child/children. Sundi is going to be the sweetest Mom and has so much love to give her kids. They will be the coolest kid/kids in town (of course besides Justin). Congrats to you guys. Sundi is hoping for twins too! Everyone please keep them in your thoughts.

I will be posting pictures of the past weekend when Sandie and Patty came to visit (waiting for pix from Grammy because I left my camera at the shop all weekend - oops).

My First Baseball Game

Colin and I took Justin to his first baseball game today. It was actually our first game down here in AZ too so it was lots of fun! We brought his little umbrella stroller and then he sat in our laps at the game. When we sat down I let Justin stand on my lap and he started dancing and clapping - he was so excited. It was so fun for Justin, he was having a great time. When everyone would clap he would too because he thought they were clapping for him, he was a little confused at first. It was pretty funny because he would even clap for the wrong team! We had really good seats and it made me rather neurotic because every time a ball came into the stands I would cover Justin because I was afraid it was going to hit Justin! Just another thing to worry about =)! No one sat to our left and there was a dad and daughter sitting to our right. My favorite part was when Colin, a proud father, turned to the dad next to us and proudly said "this is his first game". Priceless...

So cute

This one of him walking is so cute that it had to have it's own post...

I'm Walking!!

Well Justin started taking some steps a few weeks ago but has basically taken a break for the last week. Well starting yesterday he tried walking almost every chance he had. Now he is constantly walking - we would say 40% of the time. Still wobbily and has new bruises to prove it. But it's so fun to see. He should be a pro by the time Grammy Sandie and Aunt Patty get down here this Thursday. We can't wait for the visit!!!!

Just some really cute pictures of Justin
